VCSE organisations across Greater Manchester are invited to apply for funding to help build a more trauma-responsive region

The Trauma Responsive Greater Manchester (GM) Fund is awarding grants of £5,000 to £10,000 to voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across Greater Manchester. The Fund is designed to support organisations to move beyond basic awareness of trauma and embed trauma-responsive environments within their services, systems, and settings. The Trauma Responsive Greater Manchester Fund supports projects that recognise the impact of trauma and work in compassionate, inclusive ways.

Projects may include:

  • Developing trauma-informed approaches,
  • Training staff and volunteers,
  • Improving access to supportive services, and
  • Strengthening partnerships.

Applications that involve community co-design, reach underserved groups, and create sustainable change are encouraged. Funding can support staff time, training, engagement activities, partnerships, and resources.

The application window closes 7th August 2026
